stormSURGE: The waters are rising… Climate change is the defining subject of our time. The 2019 festival features artists exploring ideas and concerns surrounding Global Warming and displacement as a result of environmental change, with a special focus on artists from island nations and frontline communities.

Free workshop with PODER on climate change at the Secret Garden (2710a Harrison Street at 23rd). *Note, in case of rain, workshop will be moved to Dance Mission.
PODER is a grassroots environmental justice organization based in the Mission and Excelsior. PODER’s mission is to organize with Latino immigrant families and youth to put into practice people-powered solutions that are locally based, community led and environmentally just. .
