A romantic comedy by Neil Simon that follows newlyweds Paul and Corie Bratter as they navigate the ups and downs of married life in their tiny New York City apartment. Paul, a straight-laced lawyer, and Corie, a free-spirited optimist, find their differences tested as they deal with an eccentric neighbor, Corie’s meddling mother, and the challenges of blending their personalities. Filled with witty dialogue and heartfelt moments, the play explores love, compromise, and the joy of embracing life’s imperfections—sometimes, even barefoot in the park.
