Silent Sky

General Admission

For all the dreamers under the moon, Silent Sky tells the story of Henrietta Leavitt, the star-fiend who unlocked the Universe and redefined what we know today as the Cosmos.
When she begins working at the Harvard Observatory—the pinnacle of the astronomical community—in the 1900s, she joins a group of female "human computers," known as the head astronomer’s harem. She quickly learns she isn’t allowed to touch a telescope or express an original idea. But, wildly passionate about her craft, she silently breaks those barriers, and Miss Leavitt’s stars come to life in an immense scientific discovery that will shift the evolution of astronomy.
Though following the true story of the 19th-century astronomer, Silent Sky becomes more than a biographical play: a hymn to the unsung heroes who stood before us and an inspiration to the leaders of tomorrow.
