Pottery Pumpkin Carving

Saturday, September 27 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Just in time for the Halloween season, Gore Place will be hosting a pumpkin carving workshop – carving out of clay, that is!

Come create a jack-o-lantern that will last forever! Tracy Flynn of Pottering Around Studios will join us at Gore Place to lead you through carving and glazing your jack-o-lantern.

Participants will select a pre-thrown clay pumpkin to work on during the class. After the workshop is complete, Tracy will bring the jack-o-lanterns back to her studio to fire; she will deliver them to Gore Place within three weeks; at which point, you can come pick them up.

This workshop is part of our Traditional Skills series and is only open to teens and adults. All materials will be provided.
