Our first mainstage play to be ever helmed by a youth director! Adapted by Christopher Sergel from the famous novel by S.E. Hinton, this play realistically portrays the struggles of young people growing up in a violent world. Told from the perspective of Ponyboy, a Greaser on the wrong side of life, caught up in the territorial battles between the rich kids and his tough, underprivileged Greaser family and friends, this heartbreaking play unfolds like a hazy memory made more poignant by the telling.

*Post-show talkback with selected cast and crew.

Rated: PG-13; violence, profanity, depictions of underage drinking and smoking, death of a minor, firearms, gunshots, and knives
