This year on the final day of Annapolis Jazz & Roots Festival, Maryland Hall Presents Joshua Redman Quartet in the Main Theatre.

With his latest Blue Note album, Words Fall Short, Joshua Redman unveils a powerful new chapter in his storied career—featuring a fresh quartet of rising stars and a collection of bold, previously unrecorded originals. The album, born from a year of live experimentation, highlights Redman’s signature lyricism, groove, and collaborative spirit.

Joined by pianist Paul Cornish, bassist Philip Norris, and drummer Nazir Ebo, Redman brings a dynamic and deeply human performance to the stage—celebrating improvisation, emotion, and the beauty of imperfection.
