John Cavazos debuts in The Winter Park Playhouse Spotlight Cabaret Series with his original solo cabaret, My Broadway Footlights. Join the dynamic Mr. Cavazos as he tells the fascinating story of his career all while performing hit songs from such celebrated musicals as The Fantasticks, Showboat, Brigadoon, Carousel, Dear Evan Hansen and many more!

Patrons may remember Mr. Cavazos from several appearances in the Florida Festival of New Musicals.  John performed in the Broadway revival of My Fair Lady with Rex Harrison and worked with Stephen Sondheim in the Broadway run of Pacific Overtures. He has performed all over the world and, locally, with the Voices of Liberty at Walt Disney World. Musical Director Christopher Leavy will accompany on the piano. This unique form of entertainment showcases a different professional singer each month. A truly "New York-style" cabaret, each performance is approximately 55 minutes in length with no intermission. Doors open at 6:30pm for seating.
