Based on the narrative of The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams Bianco, this story introduces a beautiful toy rabbit who was a Christmas gift for a child.  Beloved by the child, the rabbit wishes to become "real" through his owner's affection. The rabbit receives advice from an older rocking horse and has several adventures while experiencing the outside world. Eventually, the Nursery Magic Fairy awards the rabbit with a heartwarming end to the story that is great for all ages.
