In Her Own Voice: Celebrating Female Artistry in Word & Song

In the arts, the saying “Anonymous was a woman” has too often been true. Nothing can make up for the systemic silencing of women’s voices through the centuries, but we’re going to do our part moving forward to right that wrong. Voices West is proud to present a concert of incredible choral music celebrating the compositions of women composers together with the poetry of Emily Dickinson, Maya Angelou, Sara Teasdale and others.
