Show Description:

Directed by Nichole Henry and student-director Lydia Jacobs Stagner, The Outsiders brings S.E. Hinton's iconic coming-of-age story to the stage with grit and heart. Set in 1960s Tulsa, Oklahoma, the play follows 14-year-old Ponyboy Curtis, a thoughtful Greaser caught in a violent feud with the wealthy Socs.  As tensions rise, Ponyboy is forced to confront questions of loyalty, identity, and what it truly means to belong.

Exploring themes of class conflict, brotherhood, and the search for self, The Outsiders reamins as powerful and relevant today as when it first captured readers' hearts.
