Join New Yorker contributors Harry Bliss and Sue Halpern as they discuss Bliss's new graphic memoir You Can Never Die. Bliss is the creative genius behind more than 20 New Yorker covers and 25 children's books. His first children’s book, A Fine, Fine, School by Sharon Creech was a New York Times bestseller, as was Diary of a Worm, Diary of a Spider, and Diary of a Fly, all by Doreen Cronin. These award-winning ‘diary’ books became The Bug Diaries – an animated series that is currently streaming on Amazon. His single panel cartoon, ‘Bliss’ is syndicated internationally and appears in over 100 newspapers around the world.
Sue Halpern, acclaimed author and fellow New Yorker contributor, will guide this conversation. Halpern write abour the intersection of politics and technology and has published several bestsellers including A Dog Walks into a Nursing Home, Four Wings and a Prayer, which was made into an Emmy-nominated film, and most recently, the novel What We Leave Behind.
