In the warm waters of the Great Barrier Reef, Marlin, a clownfish, tragically loses his wife and most of their eggs to a Barracuda attack, leaving him to care for his son, Nemo, who is born with a smaller fin. As Nemo heads off to school, Marlin's overprotectiveness leads to tension, and Nemo is captured by a diver. In his search for Nemo, Marlin teams up with Dory, a forgetful blue fish, and together they navigate various challenges, including sharks, jellyfish, and a fast current, while Nemo, trapped in an aquarium, plans his own escape with the help of the Tank Gang. Eventually, Marlin reaches Sydney Harbour, where Nemo has broken free and is caught in a fishing net. Working together, father and son rescue Dory and the Moonfish, and Nemo proves his bravery. The family is reunited, and Marlin, now trusting in Nemo’s abilities, watches him go off to school, ready for the adventures ahead.
