Paapa-Berchie brings together melodic hip-hop, contemporary R&B, Afrobeats, and pop to create a performance that’s both vibrant and welcoming. His set highlights this unique blend, moving seamlessly from smooth lyricism to dance-ready grooves, with plenty of space for audience connection along the way.

The show opens with “TiDal Wave” (from O.P.E.R.A., 2020), a track full of layered synths and harmonies that ebb and flow like the tide. From there, the energy shifts through the intimate, late-night vibe of “Mindless Talk” (2024), the bright, chantable rhythms of “GLOW” (2022), and the motivational bounce of songs from the "No Turning Back EP" (2021). Fan favorites like “Queen” (2021) and “Hometown” (2020) round out the set with soulful R&B textures.

Live, Paapa-Berchie is all about warmth and participation. Expect call-and-response hooks, head-nod tempos perfect for light movement, and dynamic shifts that carry the audience from reflection to celebration. With roots in choral and church-choir traditions, his vocals shine through stacked harmonies, precise ad-libs, and a clarity that favors live connections.

The Live Arts Studio is located on the Bestgate Road side of Annapolis Mall. Use the main entrance between Offenbacher's and The Container Store, turn left at the main corridor, and we are located on the right hand side of the hallway next to Loft.
