Midday Music: Beth Child, Piano, & Jamie Laval, violin

Two local musicians come together to perform and explore the music of J. S. Bach on Thursday, April 2 in the Pavilion. Violinist Jamie Laval, well-known as a performer, composer, arranger, and educator of Celtic music, joins pianist Elizabeth Child in performing duo works of the great composer, as well as solo works. Their backgrounds in classical music at the Victoria Conservatory of Music and The Juilliard School bring them back to the most challenging of all composers, one whose music is timeless and crosses all musical genres with its richness, beauty, and high-spirited energy.

This program will be Thursday, April 2nd at 12:30 pm in Tryon Fine Arts Center's Pavillion.

Tickets are $15 per person.
