Quentin Baxter Quintet

Experience what its like to be a performer on the TFAC stage during TFAC's Stage Door Jazz Series. This Quintet features Demetrius Doctor on piano, Mark Sterbank on saxophone, Charlton Singleton on trumpet; Bonnie Greene on bass and Quentin Baxter on drums. Quentin describes Abdullah Ibrahim as the South African composer not just of our day, but of all the days. The program will highlight the influence of the renowned South African pianist, Abdullah Ibrahim, through “Quentin Baxter’s African Marketplace-Celebrating Abdullah Ibrahim”.
