Three Nashville songwriters will take the stage of the Ocala Civic Theatre on Monday, November 10 for the Songwriters' Showcase! We’re thrilled to bring you this intimate performance, exclusively for K-Country listeners.
Shawn Camp started out on fiddle backing bands like The Osborne Brothers, Jerry Reed, Alan Jackson, and Trish Yearwood in the late 1980s. He penned his first #1 hits in 1988 with “Two Piña Coladas” by Garth Brooks and “How Long Gone” by Brooks & Dunn. In 2006 he had Top 5 singles with “Nobody But Me” by Blake Shelton and “Would You Go With Me” by Josh Turner.
Ronnie Bowman has written #1 songs for the likes of Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, George Strait, Lee Ann Womack, Wynona Judd, Jake Owen, Chris Stapleton, Don Williams, and others. As a vocalist, Ronnie has recorded with artists including Alan Jackson, Allison Krauss, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Lee Ann Womack, and Chris Stapleton.
Jet Harvey is a multi-platinum, award-winning musician. He wrote “Rock and a Hard Place” recorded by Bailey Zimmerman in 2021. It reached #1 on XM Highway, Billboard Country, and US and Canada airplay charts and was the most-played song on country radio in 2023. His songs with other artists include “Only God Knows” (ft. Jelly Roll) by Struggle Jennings, “Time Machine” by Erin Kirby, “God Winks” by Annie Basko, and “Ain’t That Something” by Callum Kerr.
