An Augustana Christmas Tree Lighting & Holidays Around the World - Tis the Season of Light and Community

Augustana introduces a new celebration of Holidays Around the World, featuring traditions, stories and sweets, plus the annual lighting of the Christmas tree on the campus quad.

This is a progressive event and you may drop in anywhere you would like.

Schedule:

2-5 p.m. - Holidays Around the World and story reading by President Talentino
Gerber Center Gävle rooms, 3435 9 1/2 Ave.

Enjoy learning about holidays around the world via interactive stations throughout the Gävle Rooms. President Talentino will read Christmas stories at 4 p.m.

5 p.m. - Tree Lighting and remarks by President Talentino
Campus Quad behind Old Main

Join President Talentino outside for the Christmas tree lighting and caroling. 

5:30 p.m. - Reception
Wilson Center, 3750 7th Ave.

Head to the Wilson Center after the tree lighting to warm up and enjoy holiday treats.

This event is free and open to the public, registration is appreciated.
