Ruth Asawa School of the Arts Spoken Arts presents:

225 MEMORY LANE

In this original showcase, students from the Spoken Arts Department open the door to memory, walking through the fog, the laughter, the bruises, and the growing pains that shape who they are becoming. Through a vibrant blend of poetry, rap, song, and movement, they lift forgotten moments into the light: scraped knees, absent parents, familial heartbreak, fading summers, and the stories once tucked behind smiles in family photos. Together, they face what it means to outgrow the past while still feeling its pulse, the rhythm of childhood resting at the edge of adolescence. 225: Memory Lane is a celebration of becoming, where healing meets rhythm and poets reclaim the mic.
