Dr. Steven Doty, Denison University
Friday January 23, 2026, 7:30pm
Mainstage Theatre, Kleist Center for Art & Drama

Dr. Steven Doty, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Denison University, will present a lecture entitled “Aliens are Nice: But They Need a Place to Live”. We know of over 6000 planets around other stars (exoplanets), which begs the question: how many could support life. To answer that question, we need to know what conditions are necessary to support life.
