CLIMA QUENTE (pronounced: KLEE-mah KEN-chee)

Clima Quente, which literally means “hot climate” in Brazilian Portuguese, is often used colloquially to describe a heated or intense state of action. With an elemental focus on fire, the transformative force that can create magic and cause destruction, World Dance students explore themes of intensity, speed, resilience, and release through powerful, grounded, and expansive movement. When you see or feel the heat of the movement, shout “Clima Quente!”
