Meet Lawrence Jameson: smooth, elegant, and dangerously charming. Meet Freddy Benson: scrappy, ambitious, and convinced he’s the better scammer. When Freddy encroaches on Lawrence’s territory, the two strike a devilishly clever bet — the first to con a wealthy young woman out of her fortune wins, and the loser must leave town in disgrace.
