Encore performance benefitting the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia


​The Virginia Chorale concludes its 42nd season with an encore performance of poor hymnal, the 2023 concert-length grammy-nominated work by Pulitzer Prize winning composer David Lang. Set to sacred and secular texts about community and compassion, poor hymnal is a “thoughtful, moving, and inspiring” work that received its Virginia premiere on October 2025 by the Chorale.

All proceeds will be directed to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.
