The School of Nimbus proudly presents the first Annual Ensemble Gala, an evening celebrating the artistry of ensemble students from the School of Nimbus in Jersey City and in Summit.

On Friday, June 5th at 7:00 PM, join us for a performance that showcases the dedication and artistic growth of Nimbus' most accomplished students, offering audiences an intimate window into the vibrant expression of some of the finest student dancers in the State of New Jersey. The program features excerpts from the beloved classical ballet Coppélia, set by Co-Director Sarah Lane, alongside a rich selection of additional repertory works drawn from each ensemble company.

The evening reaches its most momentous note with the world premiere of PartSongs, a new work choreographed by Marie Zvosec to the choral music of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor performed by the full corps of Nimbus' ensemble dancers — a singular occasion not to be missed!

Your attendance and generosity directly sustain the future of dance education at the School of Nimbus. Proceeds from this evening support visiting masterclass instructors, performance opportunities, costumes, and scholarships for the 2026–27 school year — ensuring that every aspiring dancer has the resources to grow, create, and shine.

Join us and cheer on the students, faculty, and visionary artists who make the School of Nimbus Ensembles a cornerstone of our community's cultural life.
