Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Edward Albee's gut wrenching drama broke ground when it appeared on Broadway in 1962. The play, with its multi-layered characters and its near frightening depth, still challenges mature audiences worldwide.
Two married couples meet for an evening of drinks, games, and emotional assasination in a New England academic setting. As the festivities progress, the players deteriorate, and confrontation becomes inevitable.
Forest Calhoun directs the classic, as it opens Friday, Feb. 12 at 7:30. Subsequent performances are Feb. 13 at 7:30, Feb. 14 at 2:00 pm, and the following weekend: Friday and Saturday, Feb. 19 and 20 at 7:30, and Sunday the 21st at 2:00.
