A 10-year-old remembers the final moments of her childhood. Her parents’ marriage is crumbling, the Soviets have placed missiles in Cuba, and her goldfish has died. A mysterious stranger comes into their lives, a man who closely resembles her beloved goldfish and may be its reincarnation.
