It was the era of James Taylor and John Denver, of harmony-rich anthems from America and Crosby, Stills & Nash. It was the poetic reflection of Jackson Browne and the soulful edge of Eric Clapton. This was music born from the late ’60s but softened by time — thoughtful, melodic, deeply human.
