In a mining town, a few lumps of coal in the stove meant more than heat.   It meant the tea was on, the boots were off, and the house was alive with chatter, laughter, and maybe even a song or two.

December Coal is a tribute to that kind of warmth.  To the work that made it possible.  To the families who shares life around it.   And to the glow that still brings people together when the nights grow cold.   In their 60th year, North America's only coal miners chorus are set to deliver two heartwarming hours of song and story, new renditions of old favourites, original pieces never heard before, and a bit of foot-stomping cheer.
