Join the Friends of Herriman Community Theater as they present The Sound of Music!

Experience the magic of this beloved classic as our talented local performers bring the story of Maria and the Von Trapp family to life under the summer sky. Filled with unforgettable songs, heartwarming moments, and plenty of joy, The Sound of Music is a perfect night out for the whole family. Come enjoy an evening of music, laughter, and community at one of Herriman’s favorite summer traditions!

Time: 7:30 PM (show runs approximately 2.5 hours)

Dates: June 10-19, 2026 (no show Sundays or June 17)

Come early and make a night of it! Doors open at 7:00 PM, and concessions will be available before the show and during intermission. Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes early for parking, check-in, and seating, as the performance will begin promptly on time.

PLEASE NOTE: The sensory performance (June 6) is specially designed for those with sensory sensitivities or individuals who may find it difficult to sit through a traditional performance. We are committed to creating a judgement-free space where everyone can feel comfortable and welcome. The atmosphere will be relaxed, and adjustments will be made to ensure that those with sensitivities can enjoy the experience in a way that suits their needs. We will have an ASL interpreter there that evening.(A section will be reserved for that evening.) We encourage you to come as you are, with no worries about fitting into traditional performance expectations.
