The Emergence Festival: Film showcase is where NVC students in Theater Arts and Film Studies bring their original work to an audience for the first time, presenting short films made with intention, craft, and honesty.

Presented as part of the NVC AAPI Film Festival, this curated screening puts student voices at the center and asks audiences to meet them there.

The Emergence Festival is NVC Performing Arts' showcase for student work that lives at the intersection of performance and other art forms. The film showcase reflects the growth of NVC's Film Studies curriculum and its place within the broader AAPI Film Festival, which celebrates diverse voices and storytelling traditions across our community.
