The Diary of Anne Frank is a powerful stage adaptation by Albert Hackett and Frances Goodrich, based on the real-life writings of Anne Frank. Set during World War II, the play chronicles the true story of two Jewish families hiding from the Nazis in a secret annex in Amsterdam. Over the course of 25 months, Anne’s diary reveals both the daily struggles of living in confinement and the enduring hope, fear, and resilience of those in hiding as danger closes in.
