A brisk and enjoyable 95-minute English-language adaptation of the timeless French comedy, this biting satire revolves around the medical field as it existed both centuries ago and in today's world. The central character of Argan is a hypochondriac father trying to marry his daughter to a doctor so that he will have a lifetime of care, but as always in a Moliére play, things are never quite as they appear.
