Ever wonder why Alice could always keep up with the inhabitants of Wonderland? Alice in Shadowland follows the White Rabbit through a world built from light and shadow by projection artists Shadow Girls Cult. The cast of circus artists recount the journey through the White Rabbit's perspective as he rushes to the Red Queen, yet continues to find himself just as distracted by his colleagues and the curious girl chasing after him. The encounters are re-envisioned as circus aerial and acrobatic acts along with various interactions with the shadow projections cast upon them. The journey culminates with an audience with the Red Queen, where she lays judgement on Alice and we follow her escape.
