Teatro Círculo presents Peribáñez y el Comendador de Ocaña, a Spanish Golden Age Classic by Lope de Vega in a free version by José Luis Alonso de Santos.

In this exciting new modern take of Lope’s story, a newlywed young happy couple – Peribáñez and Casilda – whose lives are disrupted by the Commander of Ocaña, who makes their existence miserable, are forced to leave behind their home and everything they know.

This thrilling new production brings Lope’s masterpiece vividly to life for contemporary audiences.
