Set in the 1970's in the office of a makeshift taxi company serving the Hill District of Pittsburgh, August Wilson’s award-winning drama is an exploration of economic struggle, addiction, redemption and father/son relationships.
Produced in Partnership with The Baltimore August Wilson Celebration, Jitney is the eighth installment in the American Century Cycle, chronicling a century of Black American life.

As an all-volunteer organization with no paid box office staff we are not able to keep an advance waitlist. An in-person (only) waitlist will be opened at the box office one hour before each showtime for standby and returned tickets. We anticipate that a handful of tickets will be available for each performance, although we cannot guarantee it, and they will be distributed on a first-come fist-served basis to patrons waiting in-person in the lobby. We will not be able to hold tickets or put names on the waitlist for anyone who is not present in the lobby when the waitlist opens.
FPCT is currently working on potentially extending the number of performances. When that is confirmed, we will announce the extension on our website, through our email newsletter, and on social media. We cannot share any information about the extension until it is announced. We cannot hold tickets or reservations for a potential extension.
On rare occasion, tickets that are released or donated will become available on our ticketing website.
