Twelve Angry Men is a classic American drama by Reginald Rose, originally a 1954 teleplay, about a jury deliberating the fate of a teenager accused of murder. Set in a stifling jury room, the play follows Juror 8, the sole dissenter in an 11-1 guilty vote, as he challenges the other jurors' prejudices and pushes for a deeper examination of the evidence, ultimately exploring themes of justice, bias, and the American legal system. The story gained widespread fame through the acclaimed 1957 film adaptation starring Henry Fonda, which Rose also wrote.
