Live Arts Maryland concludes its season with two extraordinary works that showcase the expressive power of chorus and orchestra.

Carl Orff's Carmina Burana has become one of the most recognizable and exhilarating works in the choral repertoire. Driven by powerful rhythms and featuring the iconic opening movement, "O Fortuna," Orff's masterpiece explores the timeless themes of fate, fortune, love, and the human experience.

Balancing Orff's dramatic energy is Ralph Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music, a luminous work inspired by Shakespeare that celebrates the beauty and emotional power of music itself. Together, these masterpieces provide a fitting and unforgettable conclusion to the 2026-2027 Live Arts Maryland season.
