March 5 - 28, 2027
Wait Until Dark is a classic suspense thriller play about a recently blinded woman, Susy Hendrix, who is imperiled in her Greenwich Village apartment by a trio of criminals searching for a hidden doll. They try to con Susy into revealing the doll’s location, but she uses her perceived vulnerability, with help from a young neighbor, to turn the tables in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse that culminates in the dark. Can she outwit them? A masterpiece of suspense, Knott’s 1966 play illuminates the heroism of someone armed only with their intelligence.
