Dona Nobis Pacem

This concert will be focused on peace and all its meaning, and will feature Ralph Vaughn Williams' Dona Nobis Pacem cantata.  This work was composed in 1936 and is informed by the memories of World War I.  It expresses a profound yearning for peace during the build-up to the Second World War.
