The season culminates with Ralph Vaughan Williams' monumental Dona Nobis Pacem, one of the twentieth century's most profound musical pleas for peace. Paired with Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings and Dale Trumbore's The Opposites Game, this moving program journeys through grief, conflict, memory, and reconciliation. By turns intimate and expansive, it is a powerful reminder that peace is not merely the absence of war, but a choice we make together.
