Allegheny Ensemble with Sachiho Murasugi, violin; and Jeffrey Schoyen, cello; Julie Nishimura, piano; Amos Lawrence, violin; and Yuri Tomenko, viola, performs Shostakovich’s Piano Quintet in G minor, op. 57, one of his most beloved and emotionally powerful works. Also included is a Student Showcase featuring an outstanding student performer.
