Jared and Amanda Hoeft will perform a diverse selection of modern pieces for flute, piano, marimba, and alto recorder, each with a unique tale.

From wind playing across a field or through mountains to tales of the high seas to a medieval legend, we have so many Stories in Sound to share with you.

With a mixture of classical, jazz, and more traditional music, we hope there is something for everyone.

Jared and Amanda met while studying music at Concordia College in Moorhead, and got married several years after graduating. Jared is a local composer and performer whose original music draws inspiration from nature and his struggle with mental health, bridging the gap between the worlds of classical and popular music. Amanda is a performer who specializes in flute. Her goal is to make classical music more accessible and interesting for everyone.
