David Wimbish (The Collection) and Jesse James DeConto have been making music together for more than a decade, since David recorded trumpet on Jesse’s second full-length back in 2013. As touring singer-songwriters and bandleaders, they’ve played separately on Midwestern stages from Summerfest to Mile of Music to Schuba’s and Beat Kitchen. Mostly, they’ve been each other’s big fans, crossing paths and cheering each other on at SXSW, Wild Goose Festival and The Collection’s own Soil & Sky Fest in NC.
