Skip Conkling's Dixie Mix

Skip Conkling's Dixie Mix is bringing New Orleans, Mardi Gras Dixie style music to the Glenridge Performing Arts Center. Their band consists of seven seasoned musicians who have been immersed in the music scene for a long time and have played the circuit with some big names in the music business. Their collective portfolio includes time on stage and touring with Patti LaBelle, Bo Diddley, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Engelbert Humperdink, Ben Vereen, and Tom Jones. Members have also played with well-known orchestras and symphonies such as our own local Venice Symphony and at Asolo Theater performances.
