Patterns and Petunias is an autobiographical memory play about transcending one's origin story. While grieving the loss of her mother, Cat explores a midwestern childhood of secrets, lies, and family violence through absurdly comic relief. With secrets and lies for touchstones, she strives to break the cycle in order to foster a legacy of love and stability worth passing to her own children.
