Dance Evolution Studios presents:

Sonoma County Community Nutcracker

A professional-level presentation of Tchaikovsky’s classic Nutcracker ballet with a spectacular community twist!

Experience the timeless magic of the holidays with Dance Evolution Studios (formerly Santa Rosa Dance Theater)! This beloved tradition tells the enchanting story of young Clara, whose Christmas Eve dream unfolds into a world of swirling snowflakes, dancing sweets, and unforgettable adventure.

This year’s production elevates the classic tale with world-class talent and surprising new delights:
● A Fresh New Twist: Featuring a professional female magician bringing captivating spellwork to life as Uncle Drosselmeyer!
● Star-Studded Guest Artists: Hired professional guest dancers—including former performers with Dance Theater of Harlem and San Francisco Ballet—dancing alongside the talented students of DES.
● Live Guest Musicians: A special onstage performance by Jeanette Isenberg (second violinist with the Santa Rosa Symphony) and award-winning pianist Robert Isenberg, during the festive Party Scene.
● Community Legends: A special guest appearance by the owners of Taylor Dance (formerly Nordquist Dance), performing as Clara's parents and bringing a custom ballroom flair to the Party Scene!

From exquisite choreography and lavish costumes to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, it’s an extraordinarily rich, family-friendly holiday experience!
