Painted Ponies Comes to the Ruskin Theatre May 2–4

Award-winning actor Rachel Sorsa stars in Painted Ponies, a moving new solo play by playwright and Meisner protégé Ian McRae, directed by LADCC Career Achievement recipient Elina de Santos. The piece runs for three performances only—May 2, 3, and 4—at the Ruskin Theatre.

A haunting and heartfelt portrait of a mother grappling with her past, Painted Ponies explores themes of courage, forgiveness, and resilience. Sorsa, a three-time Ovation Award nominee, delivers a raw and defiant performance in this unflinching feminist study of love and loss.
