Level: beginner-advanced
These classes are for beginner through intermediate clay students. In these classes Paul will teach clay techniques in intro to wheel throwing. The class sessions are five weeks long, meeting on Tuesday evenings. 5 pottery wheels are available for use in the studio. If you have prior experience and wish to work independently, students are welcome to explore hand building. Take home something beautiful for use in your home or as a gift for someone special.

All lessons will be demonstrated for ease of construction. The glazing and firing of the work are included in the lesson plan. These are all simple pottery lessons. All levels of experience will be able to complete many of these lessons during our 4-week period. All clay and glazes are included in the price of the class. The class is limited to six students. |

Christmas Slab work will be a 2 session clay class that focuses work on creative seasonal clay projects.Make something beautiful for use in your home or as a gift for someone special.
A note from Aaron : As a multidisciplinary artist focusing on ceramics and watercolor, I have always been fascinated by art and its ability to convey an idea, emotion, or narrative while retaining a sense of ambiguity. This dynamic facilitates the viewer's participation, whose perceptions and intellect further develop the piece as they connect with the art. I am a husband of 26 years, a father of two, who served in the Army for 23 years, and a recent graduate of UMHB majoring in Fine Arts. I now look towards becoming an avid maker, who inspires others to create works reflective of their desires. |

Join an adventure in creation. We will paint with a variety of mediums, use collage techniques, and develop skills in artistic risk taking and networking. 17 and up are welcome in this adult class.
When you sign up for the full 6 weeks class you will receive a multimedia journal for warm ups, access to CAC materials including paints, canvases, paper, adhesives, and other tools to help make your art.
Can't commit to a full 6 weeks. Drop in and only pay the per class rate of $25.
Enjoy an evening out with friends or schedule this class for a little alone time. We will encourage networking, listen to music, and create fun new works together.
