Get Fired up with drama and color: Raku! April 11, April 18 & May 2 10 10

Three-part series for beginners to advanced potters.  Part I and 2:  Make or throw a piece of pottery and leave it to be fired in the kiln. Instructor Larry Matthews will bisque fire the pieces created in Part I & 2 and have them ready for Part 3.  When you return for Part 3, you will choose a glaze and get your piece ready for FIRE AND COLOR!  Raku pieces have a flare of smoke, color, and drama, unlike other pottery.  In this three-part series you will learn the basic process to bring clay to life with a two-part firing technique.  $50.00 (plus $20 for clay) for two pieces small to medium size and CAC will provide the glaze (oversized pieces and personal pieces brought from home for glazing and firing may include additional charges; to be determined when the piece is presented).  If you provide your own clay it must be approved by the instructor.
