Magical Mythical Creatures 

June 8 thru 19

Around the globe, human imagination has nurtured magical, mythical creatures and the tales in every land.  Their stories still hold us enraptured.  On this multi-cultural journey, we’ll encounter familiar creatures both timid and fierce such as dragons, gorgons, unicorns, and fairies from European culture.  But we’ll also learn about lesser-known creatures like the Himalayan Yeti, or the Kitsune, the shape shifter fox from Japan, or the duende little people of Latin America.  Whatever tales we encounter, our final performance, told through drama, music and dance will be sure to leave our audience spellbound! Final Performance: June 19 at 2:30 pm

Golliwhoppers: American Tall Tales and Legends. June 22 - July 3

In celebration of our 250^th year as a nation, we look back to the exuberance of some our country’s earliest American folklore, stories and music. From tall tales in the tradition of Paul Bunyon or Johnny Appleseed, to the sun snatchers of western Native American legend, or Appalachian ballads like John Henry, and the adventurous Brer Rabbit fables from the deep south, these stories speak to a time when American virtues like optimism and common sense were celebrated. Our final performance will include music, dance, even a little puppetry, and everyone will play a musical instrument!

Final Performance: July 3 at 2:30 pm

Musical Theater Session One "Broadway on Broad Street"  July 6 thru 17

This is one of the most popular camp sessions that we offer so we’ve decided to offer, not one, not two, but three summer sessions.  Each session will be unique so if you’ve got a budding Musical Theater star you can sign them up for all three!  Our days will be filled with music and choreography from both Broadway hits and some of Creative Cauldron’s own original musicals.  Campers will be led by professionals working in the musical theater field.  They’ll also learn some of the techniques in scenic, costume and lighting design that bring these musicals to life on the stage. Final Performance July 17 at 2:30 pm

Arts Adventure Final Fling!

August 17 - 21

In this final one-week camp we’ll explore drama, music, dance and visual art and follow our camper’s leads and suggestions for our final performance.  Every idea is celebrated and teamwork is essential for our final sharing at the end.  Final performance August 21 at 3:00 pm
