1. Beginner Musical Theatre Tap Class January 10 & 11 10-11:30 AM

This beginner-friendly workshop introduces the fundamentals of musical theatre tap dancing in a fun, supportive environment. Participants will learn essential tap steps, timing, and rhythm while exploring how tap connects to storytelling, character, and song.

Through upbeat Broadway songs and guided exercises, students will build coordination, confidence, and musicality—no prior tap experience required. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to perform a short combination.

2. January Improv Workshop January 24 10-11:30 AM

$25 per student

A high-energy, creativity-boosting experience for students interested in performance, this improv workshop builds spontaneity, confidence, and imagination through games and exercises. The class lays the groundwork for a possible ongoing improv series, with flexible attendance to accommodate students' other activities. Future opportunities may include community performances at events, nursing homes, or as openers for CVLT fundraisers.

3. Musical Theatre Audition Prep Workshop February 21 & 22 10-11:30 AM

Grades K–8
$50 per student

This workshop is designed to help performers develop the essential skills needed to succeed in musical theatre auditions. Participants will learn how to select and prepare audition material and present themselves professionally in the dance, vocal, and acting portions of an audition.

Note: There is no formal performance, but students will share progress through informal in-class showings, and video recordings may be shared with parents (with permission).

5. Playwriting Writers Workshop Saturday 5/14, Sunday 1/15 10-11:30 AM

Grades 2–8
$50 per student

Designed for aspiring young writers, this hands-on workshop introduces students to the fundamentals of writing for the stage. Through a mix of writing exercises, group brainstorming, and collaborative scene development, students will learn to create compelling characters and develop original dialogue driven short scenes. The workshop culminates in informal staged readings and in class performances.

Note: There is no formal public performance; however, video recordings can be shared with families, pending permission.

8. Intermediate Musical Theatre Dance Class May 2 & 3 10-11:30 AM

This workshop is designed for students who have some prior dance experience. Students will explore choreography inspired by classic and contemporary Broadway styles while focusing on performance quality, musicality, and character-driven expression. These classes combine technique, style, and stage presence, helping dancers connect emotion to movement and bring authenticity to every step. Guided by an experienced instructor, participants will strengthen their confidence, versatility, and ability to adapt to a variety of musical theatre genres.

Summer Camp 2026 June 8 - 25 M-F 9-2 PM

Grades K-8
$600 per student

This program is designed for aspiring actors, singers, dancers, and creatives ages K-8 offering a fun and supportive environment to explore the performing arts, develop new skills, and gain confidence both on and off the stage.

Over the course of 3 weeks, participants will engage in a variety of hands-on activities, including acting workshops, vocal coaching, dance classes, and behind-the-scenes production work. Our experienced instructors, including visits from professional theatre guest artists and educators, will guide students through the creative process, from rehearsing scenes and monologues to developing original works and learning about technical theatre aspects like lighting, costumes, and stage management.

The program culminates in a final performance, where students will have the opportunity to showcase their talents to family and friends in a fully staged production. Whether they’re looking to pursue a career in the arts or simply explore their creativity, participants will leave with a sense of accomplishment, new friendships, and a deeper love for the theatre.
