Learn about the process of setting up a green screen and shooting in front of it.  This class Includes an overview of the history and technology of green screen as well as the lighting and camera requirements for quality green screen shooting. Participants will have hands on activities of shooting and editing using green screen on our stage. (Potential for longer more in-depth class if there’s interest.)

Ever wanted to learn some hip-hop style choreography to music from Hamilton?  What about high energy, athletic steps to music from Newsies or Hairspray?  Ever wanted to play around with some tap steps?  Well, here is your chance to be introduced to just a few of the many styles of dance in the Musical Theatre world.  This beginning introductory class will focus on strength building, endurance, and sharpen the skills required to learn, retain and perform choreography whether it be on stage or off.  A fun, collaborative and safe space environment for all!

What if students felt more confident, could trust their instincts better, and could improve their teamwork, all while laughing and learning? That’s the possibility of an improv-themed classes led by longtime professional educators. In this 8-week course, the positivity-filled workshop will cover the core “Yes, And” improv concept; trusting your teammates as you create on the fly; taking an idea and running with it; gaining confidence as a public speaker; and building a supportive atmosphere. And yes, with professional improv comedians on hand to guide each student, there will be laughs throughout!

We will experience the art of theatre by immersing ourselves in the magical world of fairy tales and learn how to bring the stories to life — on stage.
